European Statistical Day 2021
The 20th of October was designated the World Statistics Day by the United Nations General Assembly in 2010. It is celebrated worldwide every 5 years. The European statistical community celebrates the European Statistics Day annually, at the initiative of the European Statistical Advisory Committee (ESAC) with the support of the European Statistical System, of the European System of Central Banks and of the Federation of European National Statistical Societies.
To celebrate European Statistics Day, Eurostat is holding an open day in the form of a
webinar tomorrow (20 October) from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM CET. The open day will feature an overview of official statistics published by Eurostat as well as recent initiatives. Questions can be sent via Slido.
